The North Haven Housing Authority owns and operates 2 projects of elderly housing, Parkside at 191 Pool Road and Temple Pines at 555 Pool Road. Anyone 62 years of age may apply provided they are capable of independent living and their income is within the guide lines.
Tenants pay 29% of their adjusted income for rent. The complexes are self sustaining with no federal or state Subsidies, Unfortunately the waiting lists are closed at this time but may re-open soon. The administrator may be able to assist interested parties in alternatives.
Office hours are daily, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm and also by appointment.
