North Haven Fire Marshal’s Office Project Development Meetings
The process of planning and developing a project in the Town of North Haven involves the review and approval of a number of town departments. Depending upon the scope of the project and the number of departments involved, scheduling of meetings with town staff can be difficult.
Understanding the procedures used by the various departments, along with access to the officials involved with the review and approval of applications, can produce a smoother and more efficient approval process.
Project development meetings, hosted by the North Haven Fire Marshal’s Office, consist of face to face interactions between developers and staff from multiple town departments, whose responsibilities include the review and approval of permit applications, building and fire code compliance and inspections.
These meetings provide a forum for owners, developers and design professionals to discuss their projects with town officials, putting everyone on the same page, and avoiding multiple meetings and costly delays.
