Electronics

Effective April 4, 2013, and in conjunction with the approved Electronics Recycling mandate imposed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the Town of North Haven is implementing its Electronics Recycling Program at the Town's Recycling Center located on Elm Street. This program is open to all Town of North Haven residents. Residents are asked to bring their electronics to the Recycling Center instead of placing them at the curbside as has been done in the past. The Town can no longer accept CURBSIDE electronics wastes, including televisions, stereos, cameras, printers, facsimile machines, DVD players, Video players, etc.

The Town's new Certified Electronics Recycler also accepts anything with a plug with the exception of white goods and appliances. However these items are accepted at the Town's Transfer Station.
