Live Christmas Trees
Live Christmas Trees are normally collected annually, during the month of January.
Streets and Roads staff pick-up Live Christmas Trees based upon the daily Sanitation collection route schedules. Trees are then brought to the Recycling Center located on Elm Street for chipping.
North Haven residents can also drop their trees off at the Recycling Center on weekdays, during normal working hours and leave them adjacent to the gate, where they will be chipped.
Residents are asked NOT to place their trees in large plastic bags or any type of containment prior to pick-up and are reminded that they should remove all decorations on the tree prior to collection.
